Hey All, this may be covered somewhere, but I’m really NEW to this and was wondering where I can find the add on/ detailing stuff you guys talk about. I’ve looked at Squadron’s site but it is really confusing…I want to venture into more than “outta - the - box”. If I figure out how to, I’ll up my latest attempt…a B-25J. Thanks to All…Fly

I like to use google and browse around with the results. There is so much information available on detailing models that you can be very specific when you search online and still get terrific results.
Personally, I like to use Ebay a lot because I cannot find many items locally.

There are several really good sites out there that sell aftermarket kits, such as squadron, greatmodels, and others. If you want a specific type of detail kit, I would recommend asking the forum or, like muzzleflash suggested, do a google or other type of search.

Nothing really new to add to what’s already been said. If it comes down to technique, drop us a line on the forum and we’ll be glad to help out. Otherwise, follow the advice the others have given and give the search engines a workout!

If you try eduard.com, you can find photos and the detailed intriuctions for their photoetch sets (usually in .pdf format). This is very convenient because you will see what you are getting even before buying a set. However, this obviously only works with their own sets (e.g. Eduard releases). This might not be helpful. I just wanted to share.
