I just painted my B-25J and I was wondering what kind of weathering I could do. Its O.D. w/ a grey bottom if that helps. I always build armor so this is pretty new to me. Hobby Lobby had a half off sale and I always liked the B-25.
thanks,Levi

try exhaust fumes, chipped leading edges, and prop blades, perhaps some dust on the wheel struts, or dirt on the tires. theres some suggestions for a start, would love to see it when its finished.

would i use black pastel for exhaust?
yeah, i find that works best, try mixing with something resembling rust or that sort of colour. grey is also good, then put a clear over to seal it. have a look at http://www.swannysmodels.com/Weathering.html
Swanny is fantastic with all his modelling experience, Hope it works out well for you.
ww2 boy is right. you should browse swanny’s website because he has a lot of excellent articles about the most common issues for modelers not as his level of expertise.
hope you enjoy and learn a LOT from swanny’s stuff.

Don’t forget a sludge wash to accent the panel lines… I use black temper paint thinned down to the consistency of coffee and then add a few drops of dish washing liquid. Paint it on the lines then after it dries use a slightly damp cloth to wipe it off and just leave the color in the lines. This is all on Swanny’s site too.
And OD turns to brown after some time.
thank you every one
IT IS ALREADY WITH THE FLAT COAT??
