i just needed to know, when you apply your pigments to the tank then you apply pigment fixer is metholated spirits just as good? instead of buying the pigment fixer.

Hi Callum,
If you are applying pigments to a model painted with acrylic paints do not go near it with methylated spirits. Methylated spirits will “burn” through acrylic paint faster than you can blink.
Also, methylated spirits on its own is merely a solvent. It contains nothing to act as a fixative. However, you may consider making up a very thin mix of clear (gloss or flat), which will do the job just fine. [:)]
