How do you weather tank tracks, I don’t mean with dirt and mud, but where metal to metal contact occurs. What colors to use.

if you mean where does the metal start to show through, it would depend on how “used” you want your tank to look, and also the location of the tank you’re modelling. If it’s in Russia, your tank track would have metal on the teeth of the tracks (where they go through the wheels) and on the outer extremeties of the track. If it was in the desert or a more urban place, it would have even more metal exposed, such as ever rasied part of the track and the outer edges… it also depends on the type of wheels that were used, and the kind of tank you’re building…
Hey Montana. I highly recommend tamiya metallic grey (xf-56). IMO it’s a great color for tracks and other metal stuff too.
