All,
I just finished Tamiya’s 1/48 “Early Prod” King Tiger. Its Gloss Coated and decaled. I want to weather it, something I have never tried. The scene is Tunisia 1943. Any “Simple” tips?
Thanks,

Sorry IBuild King Tiger’s did’nt show up till mid 44. You’ll have to use a Tiger I if you want it to be in Tunisa.
Panzerguy’s correct, there were no king tigers in the desert. As to weathering, I typically use an oil wash followed by a flat clear then dry brush with lighter shades of the base coat. I don’t weather real heavy, but it’s a personal thing, if you like the look, you’re done. Try a search for weathering on this forum. It’s a hot topic and you’ll probably get a couple of hundred threads to look at and read.
