yeah it wasnt meant to be the day i painted. i just airbrushed my f-18 and what a big mess i made. now instead of a good looking f-18 i got a big gray mess of paint and plastic airframe. well back to the striping booth i go. maybe later in the evening i can get things to go right. anyone ever have bad days when nothing goes right.[:(!][:(!]
Sorry to hear about your painting mishap! Yeah it happens to all of us at times, it really sucks when you get a good build going only to see it get trashed by a bad paint job. Just take it in stride and don’t let it get you down too much. Sometimes I just take a day off and come back with a fresh perspective and that really helps. Also, keep one of your trash models around and test shoot it first before you paint your prized model. That way, if you have a problem with your brush or paint you won’t ruin the model and you can figure out what is going on with the airbrush, etc.
We all have days like this. I had a model of a Seagull that I had to strip the paint off 3 times to get the stripes right.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, tell you what. Just go to the beach in S. GA and oogle the girls for a while, and when you get back, your troubles will seem quite small and insignifigant. That’ll cure you up!
You can then paint until your heart’s content.
Me, I’ve had a bad day to. Went to do the decals on a 1/72 Walrus and upon contact with the water the decals just cracked and broke up!!! So now I’ve ordered some AM. That will serve me right for saying they’ll do!
Everyone has one of those days. Just hope they are few & far between.
