Why are so many people convinced that they can get something for nothing. I live by the old rule, “If it looks too good to be true, It isn’t”.
There are also some sick people in this world. In a city very close to where I live, a woman reported her daughter had cancer and had asked the newspaper and local TV stations for help. A bank set up an account for her and donations started coming in. She set up collection jars in several business areas. Just last week it was discovered her daughter was healthy and fine. What type of sick person does things like that.
The eBay scam seems to cycle around every month or so. I got the lates Nigerian scam email, notified Dave, and also forwarded copies to the local FBI office and the Postal Service. I also notified the local law enforcement folks. They can only slow it down, but not make it completely go away, unfortunately. We do what we can. - Ed
That just happened here in Ohio too! It was a father/mother saying that their daughter has cancer…they went so far as to shave her head so that she looked like she was having treatment for it. There are some sick individuals out there…it is a shame that they are able to screw up these childrens minds. They are to be sentenced soon, I believe.
