warmup, Airfit Puma.

A little break on tanks, this is a simple kit by Airfit oops sorry, I mean Airfix puma helicopter, here are the completed parts.

I want to keep the window clean, so I dip them in futur floor wax, the result was excelent.

The blades will be removable this time.

The engine is nice, but only the part that will be seen are highly details.

Before,I never painted the interieur, but since the window are clean, lets make this one unique.

The two half.

Here what it looks like if the parts are togehter, but let’s paint before assembly.

Like the engine.

Just one question, what color is the interior of the helicopter?

Hey T-rex, you are building a lot of models. Don’t you get them all mixed up…[(-D]. Haha, you might end up with an AMTRAC fitted with Puma rotors, a Tiger tank with landing gear and maybe a P-38 Lightning mounted with a 88mm gun. Not to mention some unique colour schemes…P-38 in three tone german armor camo could look good!!

Nice Puma by the way. Look foward to seeing it built.

Boomer…

The interior is usually a light shade of grey. What countries military are you making it? You can google it as interiors varied per country.

It’s going to be in RAF uniform, its going to be practice with free hand camo, or with putty that should help out.

As Rudi stated, the rear cabin interior is various shades of medium grey.

The cockpit is all flat black for NVG compatibility.

Here is a good Puma walkaround.

Rats! the cockpit widow has big scraches on it, but most of the widow will be mask, altought the mark mit show off even after paint. Is there any way of covering marks on windows?

You can paint it, polish it, or try dipping it in Future. Seriously, that might just do the trick. If not, polish it out.

Future seems to be getting rid of the worst of the scratches on my SA330’s canopy. The cabin windows, however, are horrible, and I’m having better luck with Krystal Clear. Also saves a lot of hassle on masking!

NTM

Just to make sure I got the right interieur colors;

Passenger room (back room behind cockpit) is neutral grey, or is it light grey?

Cockpit is entriely flat black.

and engine is metallic grey.

Corret me if i’m wrong!

Those colors sound right. The rear cabin is a couple different shades of gray. The fabric parts will be one while the metal parts another. The seats can be another. Check out the walk-around I linked to above and you will see what I mean.
