Warhammer 40K Figure Question

Ok, so I just got a few WH40K 25mm figures. The plastic ones that I got are fine. They come with instructions and everything went together nicely. But the metal ones aren’t working as nicely. I have 3 Space Marines. The ain body and right arm are metal are one piece and the other arm and weapon is plastic. For the Standard Bearer the backpack doesn’t fit on because his right shoulder guard is in the way. His backpack is also plastic. And for all three of them the plastic arm doesn’t have a hole in the hand for the gun to fit in. It looks like I could break off the handle of the gun and glue it to the top of the hand but I dont know if this is correct? And the techmarine comes with all these different guns and swords and I just dont get how to put the sword in his hand. If anyone could helf me out it would be greatly appreciated. These are my first figures and I’m a bit lost. Oh Yeah, will Super Glue bond plastic to metal?

Yes.

superglue gel works fine, i was just helping my brother with his ultra-marines when I was on leave in California.

To assemble the Bolter (Space Marine weapon) to the Space Marine, you would need to cut off the handle, yes.

Ok I have another question. If I want to make a scene with these guys, since I’m not using them for the game, is there a way to get casualties? I’m thinking of some dead dwarves to go around my Night Goblin Fanatics, but just painting and laying down a dwarf figure would look kind of dumb, wouldn’t it? Any suggestions?

I’m sure there are tons of tutorials on that out in the big web.

Me myself have always wanted to do that with a 40K figure, but I have to get a new kit first

And anyways, I’m pretty sure many people here know how to do it in other scales, and the technique is the same.

And besides, on Games Workshops website you can find a tutorial on how to add battle damage to your figures armour and such. May be usefull on a dead figure.

Actually, Warhammer figures are estimated to 28mm (1/56 scale, as GW says themselves) and not 25mm.

Thanks for the help man. I’ll see what I can find out there.
