I have been searching for a 1/48 Intruder for … years. I cannot find any anywhere. Does anyone have a line on a purchasable kit that they can send me the link to? Any suppliers? [:D]

The only place I’ve seen them is on Ebay (… two 1/48 Revell/Monogram kits, one Testors, and one older Fujimi kit for bit currently). I’ve built the Revell/Monogram kit in the past and it has really accurate details straight out of the box. The link is www.ebay.com Click on the “Toys and Hobbies” link and then click on “Models, Kits”. Then do a search under “Intruder”.
I was lucky enough to grab one of these by Hasegawa one day while living in Okinawa. Gonna build it up and hang a ton of ordnance on it one of these days. Just got to find the time to get started. I haven’t seen one lately on the shelves, so E-bay may be your best chance of finding one. Good Luck.
I’m bidding on a Testors A-6A on eBay right now; that’s the only one I’ve seen in a long time.
Looks like there are 2 A-6Es on their right now as well. Just do a search for “1/48 intruder” and see what you find.

www.kingkit.co.uk has the Fujimi 48th scale A6 - expensive at £19 - but it is available.
Dragonfire, I’ll have to dig it out and take another look, but if I recall the detail was pretty good. The office was a little basic, I think, but not bad at all. It came with a ton of weapons to load it out however you wanted, too.
Chimera, I have a 1/48th Intruder in my stash complete with aftermarket decals. I am willing to trade for a Hasegawa 1/48th F-4B/N with recessed panels lines which, like the A-6, is currently out of production. I am stead-fast with this kit. If anybody is interested please let me know!

The one I have is a Hasegawa/Revell box with some raised detail and a little flash on some parts, but all in all it’s a good looking kit. I had been looking for one in 1/48 and happened across it one day, so I snapped it up. I’ve got Green Knights decals that came with it, so it’ll go on the shelf eventually with the rest of my USMC aircraft.

offtopic: IS it just me, or since bmw has the m3 and m5, shouldn’t they have a 'super luxery high performance car" like an m7? just soup up the engine by like 40,000 hp, add some more wood, and sell. anyone with me?
