Want Yugoslav AA tank kit

I was just browsing through the back issues of FSM. I ran into the April 1996 issue, with a Yugoslavian AA tank on the cover. First off, how do I order this back issue, and second, what kit is it refering to? I’d love to find out as much information on this as possible, info such as references, and more importantly the kit? [:D]
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated [:)]
Thx

That would be the 40M Nimrod you’re looking for?

hmm, no I don’t think so. Unless I was looking at wrong pics. I searched with google, and the only pics I saw weren’t of it. It’s a piece consisting of 4 barrels, on a chasis that looks something like a stewart, unless I"m comletely mistaken.
Here’s the link, you can see the pic on the cover:

Oops, sorry, wrong country! I must have read Hungarian instead. [D)]
Not much I can find on this M3 / Quad 20 combo, other than there were only 4 built.

Thanks! At least I know what it’s called now. LoL
Know of any kits, or conversions for any M3 kits?

That wasn’t so much as a name as it was a description, and a rather poor one at that. I don’t know what they called it. One website called it: “M3A3 with quad 20mm Flak-38V”, for what that’s worth! I have that copy of FSM, I’ll see if I can find it. There probably isn’t much to the conversion other than mounting the gun.

Thanks, I’d really appreciate it if you could let me know which kits they used. Thank you so much for your help!

That pic of a tank is the wierdest thing—its an american chassis with 3.8cm Flakvierling on top!

No kits available, so you would need to kit bash to build it. I have seen one photo of this vehicle, possibly in the Squadron Signal Stuart walk around or a Concord publication (maybe the article in the 1996 issue will detail which). Essentially it was just the ex-german AA piece bolted down over the turret hole of the Stuart. Nothing fancy, just like the M36 Jackson the Jugoslav’s used upo to the 90’s, where they bolted rubber sheeting to the outside to stop RPG rounds and bolted steel a plate roof on the turret with a couple of thick wood beams used a spacers between the roof and turret.

yeah I know beav, that’s what I found so appealing about it
Thanks for the info Petbat. I figured there was no one kit, just wanted to find out exactly what was neccessary to build it, and now I know.
If you know of any other references for it (possibly on the web) as well as any other listings of Yugoslavian armour, I’d really appreciate it.
THanks a lot, to all!
