Like most beginners I started wrong. To big not enough knowledge. Premis is wounded pilot trying to land on south pacific airstrip. Dunes are Celluclay and the sand is the fine stuff used in sand art.
Crates and drums are out of scale but then again they are large engine parts.
Aircraft is a left over from other endeavors and is totally beat up.
Recon - I like the concept nad most of the execution. You may want to work on the palm fronds, yours are very rough. One thing told to me by someone who actually flew P-38’s is that the side windows were always kept up. Here is information on an article about the P-38 that confirms that.
Before takeoff: top hatch locked; side windows rolled up (they’re like car windows), and engage the locking ratchet (if left open, they create enormous turbulence across the horizontal surfaces);
everybody starts somewhere Recon,what is important is you are trying. looks good so far and don’t worry it will come togther in the end,if it don’t ,no worries ya learned something for the next time.
