WAAAAHHHH!!!!! MORE RESIN PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!!

As you can see this resin cockpit is givin’ me hell. It’s too high, it’s too wide and it’s too long!!! OK, here’s problem #3. In the Academy MiG-29 kit, the cockpit goes in from the bottom, into a prmoulded fron fuselage piece. On the bottom of that, you glue on another piece. This new piece has the wheel well moulded in and it collides with the cockpit, ensuring the parts will not fit no matter what!! What is the solution to this!!! Let me guess, more sanding and filing and sanding and filing… Thanks.

More sanding, filing, dry fitting, sanding, filing, dry fitiing, sanding, filing…

Regards, Rick

Wait, thats alot of work…
Have you tried,

More sanding, filing, dry fitting, sanding, filing, dry fitiing, sanding, filing…

oh yeah. never tried that before… does seem kinda like how I fixed the too wide problem…[sigh]

Keep on keep on saaaaaannnddiiiiing!

All these problems and questions, and yet the answer is so simple :

More sanding, filing, dry fitting, sanding, filing, dry fitiing, sanding, filing…

Are all resin cockpits like this?

If at first you don’t suceed, you obviously are not using a big enough hammer. [alien]

Well, this is a learning experience I suppose. It is THIS close to beating me though.
