Here are 2 F-18A’s one from VMFA-134 the other from VFA-204. These are the 1/48 R/M F-18 Blue Angel kits and boy do they, well…let’s be nice. The plastic was soft on these kits and the directions aren’t too clear on some parts. These planes did not go together well. I had this decal sheet and used up the whole sheet from Superscale #48-764. I have a duplicate sheet and maybe I will get another F-18A in the future to do these again. The decals went down fine with a little Solvaset. I would not recommend these kits other than to do as a “Remember When” build. That way it won’t matter about all the flaws. These pictures are a little far away for good reasons.

If I am not mistaken, the guys from FSM have already set up a systerm for the picture size(s) so when you post and it is a bigger image it atoumatically gets reduced.
I know that there is more of a informative way of explaining this but I am too tired to even think at this moment…[:p][:p][;)]

Thanks for the comments. I did photoshop on them, but as you can see I needed far away photos, due to the ugliness of the fit. I spent an unbelievable amount of time on these, but it looks like I slapped them together. Everytime I put pressure to get one end to stick the other end would pop loose. Even my putty fell out after sanding. I just pretty much gave up on them, but as I don’t like to can models, I kept them even though they actually look like crap up close. The photoshop photos actually came out pretty nice as in photography, but the detail you can actually see looks horrid. Oh well, on to the 68 El-camino the finish up th R/M F-14D.
