Here’s some vintage WWII pics from my personal collection. A close friend gave them to me knowing that I would greatly appreciate them. I think that they are from her grandfather, and judging by the pics , he was a mechanic/groundcrew? There are a couple more of a flight of B17s in formation taken from another aircraft while in the air, so not sure, maybe he was a crew member. But anyhow I figured that I would share them with you. If you’re interested I could scan the back of the pics to show that they were inspected and passed/ok to send home to show the folks. Pretty cool , I’ll cherish these photos, complete originals.
