Villers-Bocage, June 13, 1944

Here is my build of Michael Wittmann’s Tiger at Villers-Bocage. (Why another Wittmann? Because I’m collecting the tanks and figures of “panzer aces.”) The Universal Carrier is the Tamiya 35175 kit, the Tiger and Wittmann figure are Takom’s 2201 (I got mine in the Big Box), and the loader - Sturmmann Gunter Boldt - is from ARTO Production. The scene is supposed Wittmann nearing the end of the line of carriers and trucks and stuff, and coming to the Tilly Crossing area: he is pointing out the route to Boldt.

Nice !!! Figures are really good too.

Thanks Anthony! The loader’s pea dot camo didn’t turn out too realistic, in my opinion, but overall I think he turned out okay. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey, where’s the shrubbery? Have the Knights of NI! absconded with all the hedgerows?

Sorry, I had to mention a Monty Python line there. Okay I’ll shut up now.

Nice work on that late production steel wheeled Tiger. I like the camo scheme, and the figures look very nice. Also, nice job on the Universal carrier. This vignette is simple but conveys the message.

A very nicely done scene. Your Tiger looks especially nice with the slight weathering and zimmerit. The Universal Carrier also looks good.
