Very nice…the figures are well done…VN Red earth/dust on everything is excellent. Antennas look black…atually are green. Lots of details added like the map…looks great…Rear lights on the jeep would be red.

The M79 grenade launcher in the back should be closed, not open. Dust and dirt would get inside, which is not very friendly to weapons

It looks like you have put a lot of good work into it. It has lots of issues with accuracy though. First off, the WC-52 Dodge you used is a WWII vehicle. The upgraded M37 Dodge was the type used in Vietnam. The M37 replaced the WC series and was produced in 1951. It was first used in the Korean War. They are similar, but not the same. The cab and bed are very different on an M37.

The M151A2 MUTT is incorrect for Vietnam as well. The M151A1 was used there, which has different front fenders, different front turn signals and rear lights, split front windshield, along with a few other differences. The M151A2 wasn’t produced until '72 and was not sent to Vietnam since we were in the process of pulling out at that time.
Also, your markings are off. The Arizona National Guard wasn’t in Vietnam. The mix of white and black stars are off too. In Vietnam, it would have been all white stars. The USMC map case would not be used by US Army soldiers either. We don’t use other services’ gear. All the bright decals here and there are not correct either, great targets, but not correct. The color variation on radios and gear (some grey) is wong too. All (yes all) US Army gear in Vietnam was green.
You have talent at building and constructing, you just need to do some research for historical accuracy.

You can think and hope all you want, but it still doesn’t make it accurate. The WC-52 was not used in Vietnam. You have not converted it into an M37, which was used in Vietnam. Also, the only US troops in Vietnam in '62 were advisors and they did not use guntrucks. Guntrucks were used as convey escorts and were not used before the fall of '67.
Yeah, some issues but I’ll give you an A+ for your efforts!! One nitpick that I noticed in my quick viewing is that you need a hand set for that PRC-25!

I will agree with both my brothers here…you get an A+++ for effort and talent… you need to research you subject.
I was easy with just a few items…Gino gave you a list… but the “scale inaccuracies” are way too many to count. That said, everyone has places to improve, you have seen 3 current and retired US Army people comment… before you build, do the research and ask the questions here or on other forums.
Every build is a learning experience…you have the talent…keep up the good work and remember

Besides the other comments, one thing you might do for your next US vehicle with a tow winch up front is to use textured string, painted black or steel black. The winch spool was for a wire cable which attached to a length of chain and a hook, not a textile rope. Hope this helps.

starting with the figures, I’ve never seen anything like the vest the bald headed guy has on. It actually looks like it’s ment to take M1 clips. The helecopter crewman is really dirty! Unless the chopper went down and he had to go for a long walk, he would be very clean looking. And with shined boots
A loaded RPG sitting in the back of the truck? Let alone a U.S. Army truck! If you used it in somekind of action, you’d attract the wrong kind of attention. And probably be catching a 90mm round, or worse. Never saw a double M60 setup, but it’s plausable. M37’s were pickup trucks 99.9% of the time for a reason. They were light duty. Almost never tossed into a hard combat situation. But some folks thought they were I guess.

Roy, I never saw anybody ever use a piece of chain with grab hooks on it with a winch. And I saw a lot of folks using winches. One thing about the winch that most of us leave out is that once the cable is spooled off the winch, it never seems to ever go back nice and strait again. You often have about eight to ten feet left over, and end up wrapping it around the bumper. Lastly I can’t ever remember a winch being on an M37, but I’m sure somebody has a photo of the setup on here.
