VF-161 Chargers Sierra Phantoms - For GrenadierII

Ask and you shall receive! Well, usually…

Anyhoo, if you’ve searched the net, you’ve most likely found some, most or all of these but in case you haven’t… here ya go.

I always liked that shot of the Phantom II doing a “dirty roll” over Mt. Fuji. [:D]

How do you post pics to your replies? There was a sticky in the General Discussion part of the forum but that link doesn’t work. Appreciate the help.

First thing you’ll need is an online photo host where you can store your images. A good host is www.photobucket.com where you get a decent amount of storage capacity and bandwith for free. You’ll have to register, which takes only a few minutes.

Once you’re registered, you can upload an image from your computer:

  1. Use the ‘Browse’ button to search for the image on your computer
  2. Hit ‘Submit’ to upload the image to Photobucket

Once you’re hosted, posting an image is a simple matter of using the image URL with a set of ‘image tags’.

The URL is the address or location of the image. This is a URL:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v428/achtungindianer/FSM/DHMH007.jpg

In order to make the image visible in the forum, you have to add tags on either end of the URL. The FSM forum uses these tags:

By placing the image URL in between these two tags, the forum recognizes that the image should be displayed as an image and not simply as a URL. This is the result:

You can use these tags by typing them in, by using the image button while typing a reply, or by simply copying and pasting the tagged URL provided by Photobucket, as shown below:

That’s pretty much it. Any questions… hollar…

Nice pics!!

Sahweet - *** pics Steve-o!! I especially like the “spanking the badger(?)” shot.

Actually I did not find any of those images during my nearly fruitless search. I asked because I picked up some VF-161 decals from Repli-scale last year. I was doubting thier paint instructions and just wanted to check on an actual pic.

Thanks!

Ray

Blackwolf,

Thanks for info! [:)] Will get started soon.

Yikes, I got censored! Sorry…
