Just found this on the games workshop site. if you have spare sprue left over from their line of products, you should have plent to fuel you through some dioramas. http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/CoD/terrain/rubble/default.htm
my brother does this, and I noticed the square shape of their sprues. I’ll definately keep this inmind for bricks and other rubble in France during WWII.

That is something I have not seen, but will have to try…Now do you think my wife will notice her meat grinder missing? hmmmm Oh why get in trouble, off to the second hand store (which just so happens to be close to my favourite hobbyshop)
