Why don’t their accessories come with directions for painting and what the item Is?

Because they are Verlinden. Those tiny parts you can’t figure out? Toss’em.
Manufacturer’s painting guides are usually wrong to begin with. But I still agree, Verlinden could’ve printed better instructions.
