Could someone get me on the right track in painting and detailing resin ejection seats. I see photos in fsm and they are painted so perfectly they look real. That is what I a wanting to create but have no idea where to begin. Help Thumper

Depends on the model of the seat… but most sites have decent guides to the seat… if you get the seats in, do an Internet search such as GRU-7, or SUU-20 etc…
Also, check with others here and see if they have done other aftermarket seat kits of the same type and they can scan/copy/mail them to you…

The below site has some pretty good reference material. It doesn’t tell you how but it shows you many different varaities. Also try doing a search on the forums to find specific techniques. I use a combintation of dry brushing, oil paint washes, and pastel chalks. Trial and error and practice. Find some seats in the spare parts box and give it a try.
