Guys, it finally happened… I placed an order for Modelkasten tracks and some PE stuff three weeks ago from this vendor Depot Hobbies. http://depothobbies.com/
I still haven’t received the order and my emails & calls have not been returned. [:@] I am not sure what is happening. I will need to call my credit card company if the vendor has charged me for the order or not.
Wondering if anybody of you have had any experience with this vendor Depot Hobbies?
This is why I only order from recommended vendors. If I haven’t heard of them, I don’t order from them.
Hey Andy, I tried to place an order there for Modelkasten tracks (MK SK-) and Spare tracks (SK20) and every time I tried to order it says that due to high volume my order cannot be completed, try back later. The site seems to be up to date. The owners wife died back in March. I’m sure that set the company back, however they look up and running. Let me know your outcome

That’s interesting. I clicked on the vendor’s link, and MS Security Essentials detected a threat. Fixed that, and wham, right away another threat. As long as that site was open, it was trying to do something unkind to my computer.
I called my credit card to report this last week. My card hasn’t been charged for the order I placed after three weeks of waiting. The vendor hasn’t returned my calls and emails. I don’t want for anybody to go thru all of this like I did.
I was able to get ModelKasten tracks from RZM.com and the order was delivered within 5 days.
Bgrigg- Thanks for the head up about the threat… I would avoid this vendor from now on.
