I asked Vallejo via email if they intended to release new Ral 7028 Dunkelgelb colors. I received a kind response that they are working on four new Dunkelgelb colors based on four true samples sent by a friend (that must be our member snapdragon, thank you sir!).
They didn’t mention when.
They also did confirm that their Ral 7028 Dunkelgelb is the “Nach Muster” version. Snapdragon is spot on with that as well.
I can’t wait for their new colors. I now enjoy their paints here as long as I thin them with Vallejo Airbrush Flow Improver and not their thinner (I live in a very dry high desert climate and, as a result, more flow improver is needed to prevent dry tip).
I’m waiting for them to release them too!
In the meantime, I am using Afroka Korps as base coats apart from the Nach Muster one.
Once I am finished with the Lancaster then I will be jumping in to Amusing Hobby’s new Ferdinand with full interior and crane. I will be doing them as Nach muster base coat for operation Citadel (kursk) with a two tone green disruptive pattern over the Nach Muster colour.
I am going with a different track manufacturer for this as a test rather than my usual Friul metal tracks.

So, there will be two reviews to post once the Lancaster is done.
