Yesterday I had a bit of an issue when I tried adding a GB badge to my signature. As soon as I would try to update my settings, I’d get hit with a screen that said “validation error”. I know this same issue has caused trouble for others. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated! [H]
Hi Rocker Ive been waiting for an answer for a good while. I tried to make the badge smaller Ive tried different combo of badges Ive posted this same problem some time ago but it falls on deff ears I guess I.T. have better things to do. untill then I will do GB and collect the badge.
Did you try and post it in addition to the one you have.
Crown- that’s what I did too! I tried re-sizing it and still nothing.
Bish- yep, I did try adding a new badge in addition to the one I already had.
Thats the problem. The validation error has changed since the last time i got one, it used to tel you you had exces]dded the number of charectors, 512 i think. I am no computer wizard, but from what i understand, the charectors are the individual numbers, leter and symbols that make up a link. Add that to anything you have written, and it soon adds up. I did a test earlier and was able to have 3 images on my sig useing Flickr, that was more than i had with PB.
You have 2 options. Fiorst is to turn your GB badges into a GIF. The second is to put them all into one image, as i have done. You can see in my sig, this way you can have as many badges as you like.
But be warned, this can annoy people have such a large sig image, which is why i am only adding this as an example.
Well removed my text was able to add one more badge ! I finally used power point
