V 484 pics

Here are two pictures of some Me 262s built some time ago, V 484 was built from the Special Hobby or possibly the MPM 1/72 scale kit, while ‘‘yellow 3’’ was built from the old Revell 1/72 scale 1966 mold kit. The Revell kits decals were too old to use so modern decals were used. Both planes were painted with Model Master enamels.

Very nice, Matrixone. Cool pics too. Thanks for sharing this!

as has been the custom i have to say awesome builds. you have a talent.

joe

very nice indeed. you have a delicate touch with the airbrush, that’s some of the nicest mottling I’ve seen, especially at that scale [:)]

Thank you allan, joe, and U-96!

Glad you liked the pics. The airbrush used is a Badger 150 with the fine head and needle. I use low air pressure and very thin paint to do the mottled camo.

Here are a couple more new pics.

Very impressive!

Thanks for the comment TANGO!

nice builds Matrixone, thanks for sharing. glad to see you did get hold of a blitz, who’s kit is it? .
Greg

Thanks Greg!

The Opel Blitz is from the Italeri kit, I still plan to add a Blitz tanker truck as soon as it gets here and I can find time to build it.
On page 287 in Volume 2 of Classics Publications book on the Me 262 there is a nice photo of a Opel Blitz tanker truck towing V 484 at Rechlin airfield in early 1945.
