USS Wasp LHD 1 detail kit?

I’m going to be building Revell’s 1/700 scale LHD, the USS Wasp (actually going to be doing it as LHD 2 USS Essex) for one of the guys I work with who was a firefighter in the Navy onboard the Essex. I read a review of the kit that mentioned that the detail left something to be desired, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend a detail kit for this ship, I don’t want to go crazy with detail but it sounded like a little would go a long way. Also need to find some LCAC’s, apparently it doesn’t come with any.

Gold Metal Models makes a Detail set for that scale LHD.

Pacific Front, Roll Models, White Ensign Models all carry GMM stuff.

Thanks, that looks like it should work. Found a couple of reviews and it looks like I’m going to need to find some 1/700 CH-46’s and CH-53’s, but I saw some at one of the sites you mentioned so that should work. Now I just need to figure out the LCAC’s.
