USS MARYLAND BB-46 1:700

Nicely detailed.I sure wish these would be produced in 1/350.

The model has the following dimensions: 10.72 “x1.93”

Great looking ship! Nice work!

Am glad for being one of the two tenants to appreciate my model

Greetings from Portugal

Very nice work, great detail.

She’s a beauty!!! Keep up the good work!!!

Great finish! I take it this is the Trumpeter kit? It’s on my wish list, to round out my collection of the Navy of the Thirties.

Yes it is a trumpeter kit, the more attention your use of parts is 64% of the total in box!

good work

Great job!. I am doing the USS Maryland, but in the late war configuration. i have a couple of questions. I am looking for a part H24, looks like a fire control unit. Don’t have an H sprue. Also, some of the PE parts such as the crane and catapult require part of the plastic part attached to the PE part. How do you cut off the part without ruining the plastic part. Thanks, Lenny

That is some very impressive work. You, sir, do some excellent work.

Nicely done. I remember Mom sold a piece of property to an older couple in the mid 1960’s and I went fishing with him most days after school to make sure he was not alone (had health issues). He was on her at Pearl Harbor. Would never talk about it, typical of the time for most of the guys then.

I’ve got their West Virginia…are the cage masts PE or 3D printers?

It’s good to see this one being discussed. My dad served on her from 1940 until 1945 and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. My son built the model being discussed a few years ago.
