I am contemplating a build of the Langley, the US’ first aircraft carrier. I have found some stuff, including a reasonable profile drawing. However, I’d need drawings of some other views to make a decent build. Has there ever been a book on the Langley? Anyone know of any good drawing sets? I might go with a waterline model to eliminate needing underwater hull curves, but definitely need more drawings of superstructure.

Thanks much, ddp59
Time Life books had done a good review on the Langley in their seafarers series. I have a copy and will look at the closeup images…

Rob, I particularly need a good view of the girder structure that holds up the flight deck. Most of them seem to be about the same.
I’ll take some pics of what I have…and post them for you…I hope they can be of any help.
