Today I just bought a, 1/35 Zvezda M-30 122mm Howitzer.[:D] I know it was used in WWII and produced in huge numbers by the Russians. I also found out it was used in limited numbers in the Soviet-Afghan war in the seventies. My only question is, was it used at all by any force in the Korean War?[?]
Any help is welcome.
Just a guess, but I would venture yes. The North Korean Army was modelled and equipped along Soviet lines at the time that the war began. The did use SU-76s and T-34/85s. So having the 122mm M-30 would be a reasonable equipment presumption.
Thanks stikpusher.[:)]
Does anyone else have info???[%-)]
It doesn’t say if it was used in the Korean war, but it says North Korea uses it so I guess it’s a safe assumption, that it was used in the Korean war.
Sorry dude, I’d thought one would put 2 and 2 together. Since it was a WWII issue Russian gun and North Korea was using it, chances are they had it in the Korean War too.
