Thank you for watching.
Thank you for posting this video. Very interesting stuff.
Very cool idea!
You guys are amazing in coming up with ideas like this.
Now, anyone know of a use for used coffee filters!
Can I not throw anything away anymore !!![:'(] I’m already a pack rat!
I can envision myself on the news.
“Man suffocates to death under pile of plastic model kits that fell over on him”
“Authorities find every room in house filled with empty cardboard boxes, foam insulation and packing materials, empty plastic containers, and used coffee grounds!”
Thank you for the kind words.
Thank you.
Sorry, no use for the coffee filter…
… at least, not yet.
Never tried it but I wouldn’t be surprised if you couldn’t soak those filters in water and white glue and make 1/35 scale tarps. [proplr]
I thought about tarps, tents or parachutes.
I will try it sometime, if I get good results, I will make it into a Tips N’ Tricks video.
Couldn’t you bake the grounds at low temp (e.g. 250F) in the oven to dry them? This would also have the added benefit of sterilizing them so that the grounds don’t attract insects, grow mold, etc. This is what some people do when using real dirt for their dioramas.
I remember a science teacher that baked some dirt (sterilize) to use in a science experiment.
The smell was so bad that wing of rooms had to have class outside the the rest of the day. The teachers and administrators were so pissed at that guy!
After I made the video, I was also told that you can put them into a microwave oven for the same and faster results.
So give that a try.
LOL! I’ll have to keep that in mind. Think I’ll try the coffee grounds idea for my upcoming dio.
Even better! I’m gonna give this a shot for a dio I’m about to begin.
I hope you have just as much luck as I have had.
