I just ordered a 1/48th scale HU-16A Albatross and it is designed to be painted and decaled for the USAF. I want to make this build a Albatross for the USCG and I need direction on what site or online store that would have the decals for the USCG. I appreciate your time and help in this matter.

The more colorful decals like in your picture I can only find in 1/72. You may have to paint that color.

If you have an inkjet printer, you can make inkjet decals. Try doing a google IMAGE search with words coast guard logo and see if you can find the images you need. The white shield will be a problem. You’d need to make a decal of part of that red stripe, to go over white paint (inkjet printers do not print white), and that would require matching the red to the red paint you use, which is not a trivial task but can be done.
hunter, you might try shopdrawdecal.com i don,t know but i found some really nice looking different sets for my 1/48 grumman goose. i haven,t used them yet so can,t vouch for there quality. good luck
Aaah, quote isn’t working. Anyway Stauffer recommended searching about and printing your own, particularly the crest.
Both Hawk Graphics and Alliance Modelworks have decal sheets which include the USCG crest.
Alliance Modelworks
While listed as 1:350 scale, the crests range from about 1/4 inch up to more than 1/2 half inch. My only gripe with the set is that it misses the vertical stripe USCG flag.

It is listed as 1:96 scale and is designed for cutters. The crest sizes are identified in-scale size so you can select which is closest to appropriate for you. Again, no flag
