US Coast Guard bark Eagle

Hello,

I see that Aoshima has put out a model of the US Coast Guard Bark Eagle in 1/350.

Does anyone know anything about this company and the kit?

I believe it is the old IMAI kit which dates back to the 1970s, when IMAI did a whole series of tall ships as a tie-in to the Bicentennial’s Project Tall Ship

If it is the old Imai kit, it is pretty good. The original was waterline, but newer versions include the lower hull. We have had several discussions about the kit on this forum. A search will turn up all the info you need. I don’t think you can go wrong building it.
