The River Rats Fighter Pilots Association in Bowling Green Kentucky is always updating their displays. Because of the limited space, they use models to tell the stories of their famous members. (Bob Pardo, Robin Olds, Stanley Goldstein and John Revak, to name a few) The mission is to have a model that each member flew. I’ve been extremely fortunate to be one of several modelers to support their mission. It does help that I’m only two hours away.
I had already built the F-105F, “Big Brass One’s” for Stanley and John in the museum. The museum director thought it would be a good Idea to show the History of the Wild Weasels by using two models. The F-105, and the F-16 CJ, flown by Lt. General Bruce “ Orville” Wright. The Weasels celebrated their 60th anniversary in 2025.
