Unsure of Clearcote Separation

Almost ready to start the decals and then the finish of my B-25J Mitchell. I do have several flat dullcote brands, but I also have the Testors TES1160 1.75Fl/oz dullcote and I guess I have never seen this before.

It has separated like enamel paints. Should just shake this up and then spray it or is this separation a good thing? I mean, when it was shaken, I saw that it was cloudy and wondered if I should use it or if it went bad. But now as I mentioned it is now separated. It has a very clear fluid in about 95% of the bottle and about 5% of the non-clear stuff at the bottom.

Maybe just use the clear portion?

Again, never seen this so unsure what to do; mix or use clear when ready to use.

That’s normal for the Dullcote to do that as it sits. You definitely want to stir it up before shooting it. Glosscote separates too, its just not as visible…the cloudy part in the Dullcote is what makes it Dullcote.

Thank you Eaglecash867 for the quick reply. Will do and thanks for the help
