Whoa, thats some really specific armor there! I don’t know if they make South African WWII armor unit markings, but I would handpaint them-sorry, good luck!

I believe the South African Regiments followed the same marking system that the British did during W.W.II.
As for individual regiments, I really have no info on them.
I think Shermanfreak is on the mark here, I’m pretty sure South African vehicles would have been the same as other Commonwealth markings with additional regimental specific details.

Yup, that would be my guess. The exact marking scheme of course would depend on the time period of the subject as well, and I’m sure there would have been regimental markings on the vehicles (probably on the fenders).
