Ultrasonic cleaners???

Has anyone used an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning airbrushes? It just occured to me thinking back in my old art studio days. We used to use an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning out Leroy and Wrico lettering pens and other nib type pens. Worked like a charm on old dried up india ink. Checked Google and found cleaners in the $39 to $49 range. A fair price for what they can do.

Any comments?

Sounds intriguing. I usually give mine a good cleaning by shooting thinner after painting.

I have not used one personally but I hear that they do an excellent job.

Hmm, I might have to give this one a shot every now and again. We’ve got a few ultrasonic cleaners at work. It might be a while before I need to do it, but as soon as I do, I’ll give a report.
