Hi, Ive been looking at pictures of the ukrainian army during the conflict and they looked like they were the Russian army from the 90s, would Russian army figures from the chechen war period be appropriate to be used as the Ukrainian army during the early stages of the Donbass war?

I say they should be OK - it might be you will have to modify a detail or two, but they are definitely a good starting point. As sad a as the fact is, that there is a war going on, the modellers have a stedy supply of references when that happens. Checking those references might point out for some people, why peace is such a good thing to have.
