I don’t really know if this is worth the money, since it costs 150 bucks, but I might say that it is worth it.
I say this because it says it’s a limited edition, Jolly Rogers edition of the F-4 Phantom.
Of course, I might be completely wrong, I’m still new at scale models.

You can get it from HLJ for just over $60 not including shipping, so yeah, overpriced.

One of my early builds from around 2000,it survived until last year when a display shelf collapsed on it.But yes it is a classic old kit.
Tamiya is releasing their new tooled F4 Phantom soon…I suspect that this seller is hoping to dupe someone new to the hobby that hears the hubbub about the new release, and sees the price tag and falls for it…
I also would really say it is a “limited edition”, either. Just more buzzwords to entice a buyer. If you are interested in building a phantom, save your cash and wait for the Tamiya, or pick up one of the many other offerings available, and if you are dead set on the Jolly Rogers livery, look around for a set of aftermarket decals…

Very over priced. Hasegawa did good models of the Phantom in 1984 or so. I did few back then. I paid some thing like $22 or so. I don’t remember, a few years ago I bought a few from a club member fo $8 a piece.
There are plenty of kits out there that are outrageously priced, some just seem more in demand. Just because someone lists it for $150 doesn’t mean someone is willing to buy it though.
Some of the prices for Monogram’s 1/48 scale WW2 bomber series like the B-17, B-24, B-29, etc. have rocketed in price depending on the boxing.
Yeah, I got a hair a few months ago and wanted the Mono B-29, looking at the prices…not happening.
