UH-1 diorama

what is a good diorama for a UH-1 gunship in 1/48 scale?

I would recomend a ground crew in Vietnam re-arming it.

thanks. I like it[bow][bow][bow][bow]

With my name, it is only deemed appropriate that I suggest,

Flight of the Valkyries.

I want to try that, but first I want to try a Do Lung Bridge lightbox…WAIT that uses a UH-1 also, and a good old PBR, and a bunch of lights, and a million figures, and a lot of balsa wood, and a lot of epoxy, and… yeah, why dont you make Flight of the Valkyries.

In 1/48th? Do you have a small warehouse to build it in?

  • Deploying a crew in a rice paddy
  • Shot down and hung up in a tree, crew rapelling to the jungle floor
In a rice paddy, crew making a last stand
  • Top of the US embassy
  • Firebase
  • Downtime with crew painting some sort of nose art on it
  • Reload
  • Great opportunity for some detailing if you had a service crew working on it

Grab a book on the period and theatre of operations and I’m sure you’ll find an endless supply of reference material and ideas for a diorama using this aircraft.
