Tyrrell 020 color ?

I’m triyng to understand what’s the right color for the Tyrrell 020 1991, the Tamiya instructions are, in my opinion, misleading with the “TS-42 Light Gun Metal”, from all the pictures from internet and magazines the main color look like a deep metalized blue.

hints ?

thanks [:)]

HEY,
Gun metal is a deep metalized blue, so light gun metal would just be a lighter version.

yes…, but if you compare pictures of real car and the painted model, the difference is huge in my opinion…

real car:

model:

HEY,
Wow, that is a huge difference. The photo of the real thing does look gunmetal, but the photo of the model deffinitly looksblack. Just so you know, a couple of the pics didnt show up. If you are going for realsim, id go with gun metal, but if you are going for looks, id go with the black that the model looks like. Sry if im not helping you.

I checked a couple of my books including Autocourse and I’d be quite happy to go with the Tamiya recommendation.

Remember too,
The color the eye sees, the camera may not.

Also, the camera usually increases contrast.
