type 95 ha go tanks

So fans … other than expensive producer finemodels produce type 95 tanks … which other company produce 1/35 type 95 ? do u all build one b4 ???

I’m not sure if anyone does one other than Fine Molds. Tamiya does three IJA armor kits, the Type 97 Chi-Ha, a 75mm SPG based on the Chi-Ha chassis, and a re-tooled Type 97 Chi-Ha (late model).

If anyone else other than Fine Molds does a Ha-Go, it would most likely be a resin kit that would be even more than the Fine Molds kit. When you take into account the features of some Fine Molds kits, they really aren’t that unreasonable. Many include a small photo etch fret for grill detail. Some include single link tracks and others include clear parts for periscopes and vision ports.

This site still lists many of the Fine Molds kits, perhaps they are cheaper here: http://hobbyworld.aoshima-bk.co.jp/scripts/hw/kengte.aspx?sc=13///37///367

Great Models lists 3 Fine Molds versions. Two have the same packaging as the link Major Rob provided. One for $98 and one for $47 U.S. Can’t tell what the difference is and why one is twice as much. They also list a ‘Manchurian Version’ for $47.

thanks … so do u all build one and build a diorama ?

I own several Fine Molds kits, but only built one. I do not do dioramas, but someone on Armorama (TankCarl) is building a diorama of a famous scene where a Sherman crew has a Ha-Go tankette sitting on the back deck of their tank. He’s doing a diorama of an M32 tank recovery vehicle lifting the little tank onto the back deck of a Sherman tank.

Haven’t tried Fine Molds yet. They are a little on the expensive side (at least here in the states) and I haven’t been interested in a subject that I couldn’t find from another manufacturer at a lower price. I’m also not a diorama builder, but I’ll probably try my hand at some point.
