…as in Thunder Over Michigan. But hats off to you if your name is “Tom” anyways!

This was my second year at the event, and I was just as excited this time around. They really put on a great show. But a few things stick out that seem to be lacking these days in our society at these “family” events:

  • Children under 16 are free. They know the event is of interest to the adults…
  • The man checking tickets actually thanked me for bringing my children. They know that the airshows of the future will depend on the children of today.
  • Water and food was allowed. How many events allow these? not many!!!
