Q 1: Has anyone ever built the Trumpeter 1/35 scale Faun SLT-56 Tank Transporter? If so how easy or how hard? I have just downloaded a review and it seems pretty straight foward, but i don’t want to stuff up a such exspencive build.

Q 2: Did Germany ever have or do they do have any Abrams operational in Iraq?
Any info on this would be much appreciated!!!

A1: Haven’t built the Faun, but I hear it is very nice and gos together very well.
A2: Germany does not use the Abrams, they use the Leopard. The Leopard2A6 is their latest model. Also, Germany is not part of the Coalition and has no troops in Iraq. They actually were one of the countries who openly opposed the US invasion.
Leopard 2A6:
If you are looking for a load for the Faun, both Tamiya and Italeri make the Leopard 2A6. There are many other German vehicles available that could also be on the Faun, such as Tamiya’s Marder 2A1, or Revell’s Panzer Howitzer 2000 to name a few.

If your looking to do a Combat type action, you could do a german army peace keeping mission in Kosova, they had Leopards and Fauns

I have just orded the Tamiya Marder 1A2 i think it will look good sitting up there on the back of the FAUN.
I will be picking them both up on Friday afternoon.
