Twins

Hey guys, last night i was laying awake thinking random thoughts and it occured to me, there must be more twin aircraft the the 3 major players.

F-82 Twin Mustang

ME-109Zwilling

HE-111Zwilling.

No matter how hard i thought, these were the only aircraft i could think of that i knew had taken a single fuselage aircraft, and made it a twin boomer.

Question 1. What others are out there?### Question 2. What would you like to see as a twin bird?

Im just gonna reserve this post in case this turns into a vote lol.

I don’t know what others exist, but I want to see a twin B-52!

Now your just being silly [;)] Could you imagine it. The runway would need to be wider than it is long.

Didn’t know there was a twin 109. Learn something new every day…well, most days any way.

Thats slightly mind boggling.

Put floats on it and make it a seaplane!

seaplane or ocean liner?

Doogs, tell me its the Red Bull talkin. Rick

I don’t know if it was built, but i am sure it was planned and there are 72nd scale kits of it.

Hmmm, never even seen a kit of it, let alone a built model. Guess its a rather obscure subject…

go to google images and type in “ME-109Z” it should come up with a few built kits. even a twin cockpit nightfighter

Theres a 48th scale resin one as well.

There was a twin Piper cub. Not alot of info about it, but there is a paper model with some details. Also some examples of other twins at the bottom of the page.

I also ran across the website on twins that has the twin cub along with others.

There was also a prototype built of a twin Me 323 that had 9 engines.

Wow, thats some cool stuff.

A couple id like to see, a twin corsair (ww2 and modern)

and a twin F-18.

The twin Piper is very cool. And it looks real easy to do. There’s another twin with trike landing gear behind the Piper on the 2nd web site.

The twin The one I wanted to see… I made!

Wow, thats impressive.

Didn’t they make or plan a twin 190? That would be cool to see.

That would be cool, i might buy a second italeri 190D9 tonight to make one. hmmm.
