Yep, polished aluminum. I am trying to duplicate a current beautifully restored bird. Will be NMF, with the Beech factory styled trim (speedbird plus a few other trim areas) but with the factory black trim replaced with red. This is a popular restoration style these days.

Have the Alclad and red trim on now. Gear stuff and prop are finished, merely need to add it to models and do decals.
A polished metal aircraft can be pretty stealthy- it is reflecting flash onto dark ceiling area!
It looks like a beauty. I’m looking forward to seeing in front of your “air field”, now that the weather is good enough for an outdoor shot.
