Is it just me or was this a great movie. What footage, what planes. How accurate in terms of aircraft? Was there any real footage? I assume some had to be.
Pretty accurate-- except that they show them flying Mustangs in North Africa…from what I read, they only got the Mustangs in Italy when they started escorts. They flew P-40’s mainly for the dive bombing role…
