It’s a good looking aircraft when it’s done, but bring your putty and patience.[;)][:)] Keep us posted on your progress.

That kit has made quite a stir among the UK modeling mags. Seems to be quite a few AM parts coming out for it. The reviews I read on hte kit itself were a mixed bag- high points for the subject matter, not so high for the engineering.
Post plenty of pics on that- be nice to see how it goes!
It isn’t the easiest thing to fit together. I thought that the fit of the top of the fuselage was very poor. The tail surfaces are also very fragile & snap off with little more than a dirty look. You have pin molded on each that goes through a hole on the fuselage & is glued into a thin donut that alows it to move. Trouble is, Airfix used soft plastic, which breaks easily.
Am sad to say I lost my temper with the one that I was working on & threw it against the wall. Teach me to rush into building a kit that I had been waiting ages for. What a waste of a rare kit
Fortunately, I was able to buy two direct from Airfix as a member of their now defunct modellers club & still have one shrinkwrapped. Hopefully, I will have better luck with the next one. Having drooled over a real TSR2 at Duxford, I so want a completed one on my shelf.
you wll get one on your shelf just be very paicent thats one thing in modeling I have learned you need a lot of after all I only have one by the way I am a member of the club to
I’m going to start shortly a TSR.2 Group Build. Be interesting to see how people cope with this (swansong?) from Airfix.
[:O] you did what!?!? [:O]
I have 3 of these kits in the stash as I wanted to the 2 service ircraft and then a what if build, but can i get hold of the aeromaster decals? can I f***! [:(]
