trying to locate a couple of kits

I’m hoping that someone can shed some light on a couple of kits i’d like to aquire if they’re made the first is 1/48th Lancaster MKII this was the only version of the Lanc to be equipped with radial engines due to a shortage of RR Merlins the second kit i’m after is of a 1/32nd TBM-3E Avenger the only catch is i want them in injection mold as for the Lanc are there any injection molded conversion kits [:D]

Will keep my eyes open, getting ready to do a sweep of some of my e-bay modelers for info on the MKII. I saw a 1/48 MKI, I think, but I’ll ask around. There may be some on here who’ll know of a lead, good luck!

Frank

I haven’t found anything in 1/48th, but Aeroclub makes/made a resin conversion set in 1/48th for the Airfix or Revell 1/72 Lancaster I’s. If anything turns up in my files, I’ll post it here. Best of luck with your project.

Paragon used to make a conversion for the Tamiya 1/48 B1 kit (amoung the few releases) to make a mark 2. The kit number was PAR 48120.

thanks for the leads on the lanc conversion kits just leaves the avenger question hmm
