Well I thought I would give it a try, I have worked in 1/48 mostly with one 1/24 spitfire which I work on for a bit then leave it for a bit. But at Hobby Lobby the other day they had a 1/144 scale B-17 I thought I would try. Looked easy only a doz parts or so. Till I got to the painting and masking. Hehehe ok thats where the skill comes in on the tiny scales. But have it painted and most of the decals on , I will post pics of it when done (still need to put wheels on) plus its the secound and best NMF plane I have done. I just finished a P51D and just need to finish the front part of the canopy on it… I may have to continue on the 1/100 to the 1/144 scales stuff was kinda fun and cheaper too [8D]
Excellent! I can’t wait to see the pictures. I’ve got a 1/144 B-52 waiting to be built. I figued that I could eventually make a small collection of 1/144 bombers and passenger planes.
