Just saw the new, long awaited (by me anyway) 1/25 scale '60 Pontiac Bonneville at my hobby shop today. Looks like a nice kit, lotsa pieces, opening trunk, etc., BUT… The chrome looks really bad! Has anybody out there seen/bought one of these?? Is all the chrome “dull” or did I just happen to see a lemon! Can’t justify the $40 price tag on a kit that doesn’t measure up, no matter how long I’ve waited for it to be released. Lemme know if anyone else has any opinions on this.[xx(]
From what I understand, it is a mistake, and will be corrected on the next run of kits. I hope Treumpeter will be willing to send out new chrome to those that buy the first run of kits.
